Glen Abbey is one of the first truly planned communities in Oakville and home to the world famous Glen Abbey Golf Club. Most homes here were built in the 80’s and 90’s, with a few newer builds. Glen Abbey offers maturity by way of landscaping and tree canopies.

Glen Abbey Golf – Canadian Open: The championship returned to the Glen Abbey Golf Club for the 26th time from July 22-28, 2013. Scott Piercy is the 2012 winner of the Canadian Open 2012 which was held at the Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Ontario from July 23-29, 2012.

Oakville’s Glen Abbey golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and has been visited by leading celebrity golfers including Vijay Singh, Greg Norman, Lee Trevino, Curtis Strange and Tiger Woods with his famous fairway bunker shot.
